Each participant will receive a contract or invitation letter specifying the dates of stay.

Please note that ISU can offer neither accommodation nor meals outside of the agreed dates. 

Participants wishing to stay outside of the period agreed to by ISU must make their own arrangements. The cost of any accommodation or meals required before the scheduled arrival date or after the scheduled check-out date will be the responsibility of the individual. 


As stated in your SSP contract provided by the ISU Admissions and Finance offices, you must absolutely arrive on registration day:

 It is located about 15 minutes walk from the TU Delft Aerospace Faculty. Pelase come directly to Building 26.

Registration Requirements

  • Original and one paper copy of your passport
  • Original and one paper copy of your visa (if applicable)
  • You must pay any tuition fee balance due
  • One signed document in English that certifies that your insurance will cover you for the duration of the session including the following: insurance policy number, insurance contact details, point of contact in case of emergency

Getting to TU  Delft by Public Transport

Should you travel by public transportation to the campus, please note that our Host will provide SSP18 registered Participants with an OV-Chipkaart. The automated machines distribute both OV-Chipkaart and tickets, and so you would just need to buy tickets as needed to travel to the campus.

The closest bus stop from the SSP18 Registration at the residence is "Delft, Balthasar van der Polweg" on Rotterdamseweg.

From the train station

Arrival station: Delft Station

The train station is about 2 km from the residence, and bus take about 10 minutes drive to the clostest bus stop on campus. 

From the airport

Arrival Airport: AMS - Amsterdam Schiphol airport

AMS airport is located approximately  50 km from TU Delft. Our host will provide special bus transportation for the Registration day with following the schedule below:

  • Bus 1: 09:00 (arr. Delft 09:45)
  • Bus 2: 11:30 (arr. Delft 12:15)
  • Bus 3: 14:00 (arr. Delft 14:45)
  • Bus 4: 16:30 (arr. Delft 17:15)

Each bus will bring up to 25 passengers to the Regsitration.

Should you have to travel to the Registration by yourslef, the train to Delft and bus to TU Delft, bus stop "Balthasar van der Polweg" is recommended.

The train system is very efficient in Netherlands and an OV-Chipkaart will be provided to the registered SSP18 Participants. 

Please note that you don't need to buy an OV Chipkaart for your travel by train to Delft since our Host will provide one once you are registered. Single tickets are available at the ticketing machines at the airport.

Please do not leave the airport until you are satisfied that any missing bags have been reported to the appropriate authority. 


Departure Information

Departure day for all participants is Saturday 25 August 2018. All rooms must be vacated by 12:00 noon. Accommodation will not be available past this date and time.

Important Note: The participants are responsible for their transportation from and to the airport.
